Terms of Service

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the team members you invite.

You may invite clients to a limited portal. You control what each client can see.

The free plan covers one active client with no expiry and no card required. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance through our payment processor.

New workspaces receive a 30-day trial of paid features. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated charges; downgrades take effect at the end of the current period.

You can cancel at any time from the Billing page. Cancellation stops future charges; we do not refund partial periods unless required by law.

Do not use Bookkeep AI to break the law, to store data you have no right to hold, to attack or probe our systems, or to resell access without a written agreement.

We may suspend an account that puts the platform, other customers, or client data at risk, and will tell you why.

You own the financial records you import and create. We hold them to run the service for you and process them per our Privacy Policy.

You can export your ledger, transactions, and statements at any time. If you close your account, we delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Categorizations, anomaly flags, and assistant answers are suggestions produced from your own data. They are not accounting, tax, or legal advice.

A qualified person on your team is responsible for reviewing and approving entries before they are relied upon. Nothing posts to the ledger without a human approving it.

We work to keep the service available and to protect your data, but the service is provided as is, without warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded by law.

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes are announced by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Bookkeep AI after that means you accept the updated terms.
